Collecting coins

Why would someone pay $10 for a nickel? It doesn't make sense.

Because historical or sentimental value trumps cold hard cash.

Is it an $11 nickel? Then, yes.

maybe it has something to do with the buying power of a nickel in 1900. I am guessing it is about the equivalent to $11. Two footlong subs for a nickel....sounds good to me.
